A Couple So Much in Love

We started the day with coverage at both the Groom’s and Bride’s homes. The Groomsman and Best Man were in excellent form when we arrived, the boys having a few jokes and a few drinks, setting the scene for the rest of the day. The Bride and Bridesmaids were ready for photos when we arrived. A stretched hummer limo, a black Chev and a white Chev were the wedding cars for the day. After photos with the ladies we were then off to Overnewton Castle for the ceremony. A light breeze, little or no cloud and heading to 28 Deg’s C. in the late afternoon made for perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony and for family photos in the gardens.

From there we headed to Sunshine Hospital to see the Bride’s Grandmother, who’d fallen 4 weeks earlier and broken her leg. Rather than her making the ceremony in a wheel chair, we took the Bride and Groom to her for an emotional reunion.

From there we headed to Lakeside Convention Centre for the reception. With a little time before guests arrived, we took the opportunity for some photos around the venue. My favourites were of the Bride and Groom out the back of Lakeside in the bush setting.

The Family and Bridal Party made their entrance down the grand stair case to a mix of traditional Albanian music for the Bride’s Family and modern music for rest. I always comment on good food when it’s appropriate and the entree of fish and main meal of steak was excellent, followed by the banana choc crepe for desert. The music was a mix of traditional played by the band and modern music by the DJ, with everyone up dancing until the Bride and Groom made their getaway to their hotel around midnight. I must also comment on the heartfelt Father and Daughter bridal dance right at the end of the night, and the warmth we received from both families and friends through out the day.

Congratulations to Denise and Joshua and may your days be filled with love and happiness.
