The Wedding of Molly & Stephen

The wedding prior to Molly and Stephen’s involved well over 500 guests, so a intimate wedding of 60~70 people allowed us to meet and mingle and to get know everyone.  Leading up to the wedding day, I met with the couple on several occasions, getting to know their story with real admiration for their determination and love for each other.

The couple got ready at homes in their local area, before Molly took a classic limousine town car to the ceremony and reception venue, Chateau Wyuna in Mt Evelyn.  While we’ve covered many weddings at this venue, this was the first time we’d covered a ceremony held at the waterfall on the property, which was set off perfectly by the overcast, but not all-out rainy, weather.

Molly and Stephen would have to hold our record for the longest and most kisses ever when the celebrant said it was time for the groom to kiss the bride. Then it was into formal photos, with only 45 minutes of fading daylight left, before the reception kicked in and everybody got to mingle and party.

Molly and Stephen had a wonderful wedding, before jetsetting off to a honeymoon in the Cook Islands.  Thanks for choosing us to play a small part of your day.
